It can be so hard to know where to start, what to do, how to do it, and what it all means. People are complicated. Life is, too. Feeling overwhelmed, lost, uncertain, or nervous about beginning or getting back into therapy is so normal. That’s why I’m here and love doing what I do. I’ll help clear the path and provide knowledge, expertise, and insight as you navigate life’s obstacles. I draw the best parts from many of the amazing existing therapeutic styles so that you get exactly what you want and need.

I focus on helping adults, teens, kids, and families improve their wellness and manage their mental health. Using a client-centered approach, I incorporate various evidence-based modalities into my practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, strengths-based work, and components of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

My professional approach places emphasis on building a strong and trusting relationship, so that each client feels seen, heard, and understood throughout the time spent together. My non-judgmental and anti-oppressive practice often includes humour and always includes a great deal of empathy to make the experience as comfortable and as positive as possible. 

My approach works best with folks who are curious about themselves and the world they live in, interested in making change in their life, and looking for a productive yet relaxed therapeutic experience.
